I Ate Silkworms
Grasshoppers are good, but silkworms are better--soft, and a little bit sweet. I got to taste them at a visit to an Isaan village organized for the teachers from Vermont on Friday, July 7.

You look beautiful with your new hair and your mouth full of 'new food'! I've been following your trip through this blog since I read about you in the Norwich Bulliten. What a wonderful experience you and Jeff are part of! The stories are great and the pictures are better. I think it's fabulous that you are over there and that you have brought so many things, (especially all your books), as well as your insight and teachings. I, like all the rest, anxiously await your return to the U.S. I'll be waiting on the risers. ;)
